Julia Scott Green is an emerging photomedia artist and educator based in Brisbane, AU. She was formally trained in photographic art practice at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University.

She has taught visual communication and photography courses across the University of Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology, and is currently teaching at the Queensland College of Art.

Julia approaches photography in an experimental and fluid manner. Her work is driven by a sustained interest in the ever expanding nature of the medium and the powerful role that photographic images play in shaping our perception of the world.

Her current research interests are focused on the impact of digital imaging technologies on human perceptions of the nonhuman, natural environment.
